Hello,
We have been to Gilbert, Cara's wedding, and Utah this summer. Sometimes I feel like we are in our own little world down here in Tucson so it was good to visit with everyone. Nick started classes again a week ago and he works part time at Walgreen's. He just finished an internship with them and has decided to stay there at least until he's through with school. He has this year of classes, then a year of rotations, and then will graduate from the UofA Pharmacy College in May of 2008. That number keeps getting closer and closer! We have lived Tucson for three years now, and are feeling pretty at home here. Nick is always trying to talk me into sticking around her after he's done with school, but we'll see. Ainsley turned two in June. She has a fiery personality and is extremely busy. She keeps us on our toes! Channing will be one in about a month. He keeps busy following Ainsley around the house, and trying to keep up with what she's doing. They make a good team. She bosses him around and he just sits there and looks at her. Our babies are growing up so much! My dad always says " it seems like yesterday you were just a babe in my arms". Now I understand what he means:) Other than that our lives are pretty quiet. We had so much fun in Utah visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and the Nichols. Lissee and the other kids clocked a lot of hours babysitting for us. It was really nice! I also got to spend some time hanging out with Brandon and Megan and Corey when I was in Gilbert for the wedding. We want to congratulate Cara and Houston on their marriage, and look forward to seeing Tyler when he gets home. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come and visit. Sometime soon I'll probably be writing a letter telling what my Dad and Trevin and Kaylie have been up to. Hope you all had a great summer!
Love,
*Jacie... & Nick & Ainsley & Channing*

Nichols Newsletter

Hi family
We kicked off the summer on June 3rd with Bryce's baptism. Brandt was able to perform the baptism, and it was a beautiful service. Most of June and July was spent working in the "rock quarry" better known as our front yard. It wasn't easy, but we finally laid sod and it looks great. We're working on the back yard now, and hoping to finish before the weather turns too cold. From what we hear we aren't the only ones who spent their summer landscaping--sounds like Garth and Suzie also moved a rock or two--congratulations! The other major events of summer were Lissee turning 15, Leon playing Christ in our Stake summer pagent, and Leon getting a new job selling Toyota's in Sandy. Because of the pagent Leon was asked to grow out his beard and hair, which made job interviewing even more interesting than usual. The guys at work call him "Al"--as in the Tool-Time guy. There is an inactive guy there who after finding out about the pagent took to calling him "Jesus"--so Leon returned the favor and calls him Judas. The pagent takes place August 19th, and I will post some pictures when I get them. The kids go back to school this Wednesday, so we'll soon be trading our late nights for early mornings. Hope everyone is well--we hope to catch up with all of you on this website from time to time. Thanks to Jacie for putting it together--Love, the Nichols!

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
August 15th, 2006

We got together with Leisel and Leon and rode quads near Mt. Timpanogos. The trail takes you all the way to the very top of the mountain. The scenery was beautiful and we had so much fun.
